2. What we do with your data and files in these tools

This site brings together several free tools: QR codes, images, PDF, invoices and quotes, calculators, a document scanner and developer utilities, plus whatever gets added next. In all of them, nothing leaves your device: the content of a QR code, your photos, your PDFs or the data you type are processed entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. There is no server receiving, processing or storing your files or data. When you close the tab, no copy of anything remains.

3. Storage in your own browser

We use localStorage to remember which language you prefer to read the site in. It does not identify anyone and it never leaves your browser.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to know how many people visit the site and which pages work best. This means your browser sends Google aggregated usage data (page views, visit duration, approximate country, device type) via cookies or similar identifiers. We do not link this data to your identity and we do not use it for anything other than understanding the site's traffic.

5. Fonts

The site also loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which may log your IP address.

6. Suggestion form

If you suggest a tool through the form in the catalogue, we receive the idea you describe, your email and, if you give it, your name. We use them only to assess the suggestion and to let you know whether we build it. The message reaches our inbox (hello@zipfixy.com) through our email delivery provider, and we delete it once it is no longer needed.

7. Your rights

We do not collect personal data to run the tools themselves. The only data processed is the analytics data described above and, if you write to us, the data from the suggestion form. You can write to mromansroca@icloud.com to exercise any right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability, or to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country (for example, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus if you live there, or the equivalent authority where you reside).
