Turn photos into a scanned PDF
Take a photo of the document (or upload one) — we'll straighten and clean it up like a real scanner, then combine everything into a PDF.

How it works
It detects the document's edges in the photo, corrects the perspective (so it comes out straight even if the photo was taken at an angle) and crops out the background — just like a physical scanner. Then you can apply a black-and-white filter that greatly improves the legibility of text in photos taken with a phone.
When detection can fail
If the document is on a background of a similar color, in low light, or very wrinkled, automatic edge detection can get it wrong. That's why you can always choose "Original photo" and use the image exactly as you took it, with no cropping at all.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded to any server?
No. Document detection, cropping and PDF conversion all happen inside your browser. Your photos are never transmitted anywhere.
What happens if the document's edges aren't detected well?
This can happen with low-contrast backgrounds or poor lighting. In that case you can use the photo as-is, without automatic cropping, and still add it to the PDF.
Can I scan several pages into the same PDF?
Yes. Add as many pages as you want, reorder them or remove the ones you don't want, and download a single PDF with all of them at the end.
