How it works

Fill in your company's details, your client's details and the items to quote — the subtotal, VAT and total are calculated automatically from the percentages you set on each line. When you download, a PDF with real, selectable text is generated — not a screenshot.

Why the validity date matters

A quote is a price offer, not an open-ended commitment: material costs, rates or availability can change. Stating how long the offered price stays valid protects both your business and your client, making clear from the start within what timeframe it can be accepted.

Frequently asked questions

Is my data or my client's data uploaded to any server?

No. The quote is generated inside your browser. Your data, your client's data and the final PDF are never transmitted anywhere.

Is my company data saved for the next quote?

Yes, if you allow it: we save your issuer details and the last quote number in your own browser (localStorage), so you don't have to type them again. That storage is local to this browser and this device — it isn't synced anywhere.

What does the validity date mean?

It's the date until which the offered price still stands. After that date, prices may have changed (materials, rates, availability...), so it's worth stating clearly on every quote.

Is a quote the same as an invoice?

No. A quote is a price offer made before the work is carried out — it doesn't mean anything has been charged. An invoice is issued afterwards, once the work or sale has already happened. If you need invoices, use our Invoice Generator.
